The Opportunity The Liens & Subrogation Assistant manages and negotiates all medical liens for personal injury cases. The Assistant communicates with medical providers and clients daily, ensuring healthcare providers who treated the injured party are properly compensated from the settlement proceeds, and that the client's final payout is maximized. Professionalism and empathy are essential when communicating with clients.
Responsibilities
Call medical providers to gather initial case information.
Track cases and schedule follow-up calls as needed.
Communicate effectively with doctors' offices, co-workers, and clients.
Update the firm’s database promptly with accurate data.
Upload and share relevant documents appropriately.
Build rapport with potential clients.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Maintain a team-oriented and positive attitude at our Los Angeles office.
Qualifications
At least one year of administrative experience requiring attention to detail, effective communication, and multitasking.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Office 365.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Knowledge of medical treatments and provider types.
Spanish fluency is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00/hour depending on experience.
