About the Financial Representative Role
As a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, you will help individuals and businesses achieve financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and financial planning. Build long‑term relationships, understand unique needs, and provide tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand financial goals and concerns. Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive plans including investments, insurance, and retirement. Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement strategies to protect assets and income. Ongoing Support: Monitor plans, provide regular updates, and adjust strategies as needed. Networking: Build and maintain a client network through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations. Qualifications
Education: Associate degree or higher (preferred). Experience: Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or business development (beneficial but not required). Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses, with training and sponsorship available. Benefits
