About the role: As a member of the Goodwill Financial Insurance team, your primary aim will be to drive growth in our living benefits and life insurance book of business. To achieve this goal, you will use our proven insurance sales process and apply effective strategies daily. This will include reaching out to prospects who have previously asked about our services, as well as actively seeking new opportunities to expand our reach.
This role is specifically focused on life and living benefits insurance opportunities, and you will make a significant impact on our business by successfully driving growth in this area. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual with exceptional communication skills to help us achieve our goals and continue to provide the best possible service to our valued clients.
Responsibilities:
Cold calling over the phone and knocking on doors to offer and sell insurance.
Filling out appropriate forms and inputting data into our software system once a product is sold.
Cultivating relationships and cross-selling additional lines of insurance.
Networking at local Chamber mixers and other professional organizations/associations.
Establishing new relationships with potential clients and signing them up for insurance.
What you will need:
Strong sales skills with experience in tracking, developing, following up, and closing leads.
Excellent multitasking and computer skills; proficiency in written and verbal communication.
Familiarity with sales software; knowledge of Infusionsoft is a plus.
Strong communication skills.
Organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Active Life Producer License.
SPANISH-SPEAKING.
1 to 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Agent in the insurance industry.
