B. Riley Wealth Tax Services, Inc., a subsidiary of B. Riley Financial, is a leading private wealth and investment management platform that provides comprehensive financial solutions. We are seeking a full‑time Tax Preparer to work in our Poughkeepsie, NY tax office for the 2025 tax season.

Responsibilities:
Conduct client interviews to understand their financial circumstances and gather necessary documentation.
Review client‑provided financial data for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare individual and business income tax returns using Ultra Tax software.
Respond to client inquiries and research tax‑related issues as needed.
Identify opportunities to assist clients by leveraging the full suite of services offered by the firm.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Three to five years of professional work experience preparing tax returns.
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
CPA or Enrolled Agent a plus.
Ability to work independently.
