Wealthspire Advisors is seeking an AVP, Advisor to craft tailored investment strategies, lead execution of sophisticated financial plans, and nurture client relationships while upholding regulatory standards. The role collaborates with external experts and contributes to strategic initiatives within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and/or support other advisors in the management of client engagements.

Determine appropriate client allocations through analysis of investment objectives, risk tolerance, net worth, income, and investment experience.

Execute investment and planning activities (e.g., rebalancing portfolios, money movements, tax loss harvesting, charitable planning, lending evaluation, education funding).

Actively service client accounts by performing and coordinating administrative tasks (e.g., tracking transfers, preparing performance reports, processing transaction requests, handling paperwork).

Initiate and field client calls on topics such as portfolio questions, planning items, and money movements.

Assist with the development of client financial plans using planning software and present results to clients.

Monitor client investments, review performance, and suggest changes to portfolios as appropriate.

Prepare for and attend client meetings and complete follow-up activities.

Create proposals for prospective clients.

Coordinate with clients’ attorneys, accountants, and other professionals as needed.

Develop and maintain knowledge of financial planning concepts (gift, estate and income tax planning, insurance, education funding, charitable strategies, etc.).

Pursue professional development opportunities, including licenses/designations, and participate in training and networking events.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of wealth management experience (additional experience considered).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, portfolio management, and financial planning software is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in financial planning, business, accounting, finance, economics, law, or related field.

Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage task lists.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Flexible team player who adapts to change and embraces new ideas.

Creative thinker with strong problem-solving and influence/consensus-building skills.

Reliable, with strong follow-through and professional initiative.

Supervisory experience is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000, determined by experience and qualifications. The role may be eligible for incentive compensation and performance-based incentives.
