Overview
Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions). We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in our Albuquerque office and other NM areas. Success in this role will require a strong local network and in-person relationship building in the community. This position is a combination of in-office and field sales. Pay and Benefits
Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role. Through a combination of base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions, typical total first year compensation ranges from $55k - $75k. Potential for top performers to earn over $100k in their first year. Pay includes benefits from day one, including training (licensing training) and mentorships for employees pursuing career goals. Renewal commissions provide opportunity to increase earnings each year. Responsibilities
Build and leverage a strong local network and in-person relationships in the community. Sell Auto, Home, Life and related insurance products through Comparion Insurance Agency with in-office and field activities. Provide consultative insurance solutions to meet clients’ needs and maintain ongoing client relationships. Qualifications
Preferred Experience
Previous employment in a sales role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers. A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty, and Life. Required Skills
Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills Persuasion and negotiation skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base About Us
