Minimum Hiring Annual Salary: $58,171.00 Maximum Hiring Annual Salary: $62,825.00 To attain the maximum annual salary, the employee must meet all minimum qualifications plus additional criteria described below. Salary Qualifications for Maximum
5 (five) years of additional applicable work experience and/or degrees higher than the minimum qualification degree. Degrees higher than the minimum qualification degree can be used in combination with additional work experience. A combination of related education, on-the-job work experience, certifications and/or licenses that results in a candidate successfully meeting the minimum qualifications of the position may be considered. This position will assist the College and the Foundation to obtain external grant funding and restricted funds in support of the College's strategic goals. The position will serve as the institution's grants manager, small grants writer, administrator, coordinator and liaison. Key Responsibilities
Institutional Approval of Proposals and Submission: Initiate the process by explaining the specific grant essentials and obtaining authorization from appropriate approval authorities; shepherd the authorized and completed grant through the process including coordination with senior management and college administration, legal review, final signatures, and submission of proposals via appropriate mechanism (online or paper). Research of Funding Opportunities: Conduct program-related research from diverse and relevant sources to support proposal positioning and institutional fundraising strategies; establish and maintain relationships with local, regional and national funding agencies; investigate potential grantors based on College mission and priorities; identify and disseminate information about grant opportunities that match Aims' mission and priorities. Grants Administration: Oversee and coordinate post-award project management, assist project directors with progress reports and budgets, manage Time and Effort Certification, coordinate grant closeout, maintain documentation, ensure compliance with grant requirements and funding agency rules; liaise with College accountants and project/grant managers; maintain relationships with grantors and ensure funded programs meet grantor expectations and reporting requirements; track status of grants and reporting timelines. Proposal Development: Lead in proposal development by facilitating planning, encouraging faculty/staff to develop proposals, providing writing assistance and submission support; develop proposals in-house when needed; draft narratives and related documents; coordinate internal teams and budget integration; manage grant pre/post award activities and closeout. Compliance Implementations and Maintenance: Provide guidance on federal and other funder statutes and regulations; advise administrators on policy updates for compliance; collaborate with legal counsel and Budget Director to draft policy changes; maintain documentation as primary compliance contact; identify issues and communicate with staff and grantors as needed. Other Duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field, plus one (1) year in grants administration, compliance and proposal development, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Experience using current telecommunications methods. Ability to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. Must be able to travel by company or personal vehicle; able to pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance. Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years experience in Grants, Higher Education or related fields. Required Documents
