Job Overview Financial advisors partner with clients to help them achieve long‑term goals such as retirement, wealth building, estate planning, education funding, and more. As a financial advisor at Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice with support from your branch team, a home‑office team, and other regional advisors. With over 100 years of history, our firm has more U.S. and Canada offices than any other investment firm, serving eight million clients.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships to acquire new clients through face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies.
Understand clients’ needs and develop personalized, comprehensive strategies.
Oversee branch processes and ensure a high‑quality client experience.
Engage the branch team to monitor and adjust the branch business plan.
Create a highly engaging branch environment built on mutual trust and accountability.
Qualifications Candidates should have at least one of the four qualification bullets listed below:
A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities/financial services industry.
Financial services and/or sales experience.
Financial services registration, licensing, or certification.
Professional and/or military career progression.
Additional characteristics that make you a successful financial advisor: interest in financial services, love of learning, skilled relationship building, critical thinking, passion for new opportunities.

SIE, Series 7, Series 66 required. Registrations may be obtained during a paid study period.
FINRA registrations required within three months. State insurance licenses required.
Ongoing training and CE required to maintain licenses.
