In this key support role, you will work closely with the Southeast Regional Finance Director and collaborate with HFW's Member Firms on a variety of financial projects and initiatives. The Assistant Southeast Regional Finance Manager will assist in driving financial processes, preparing reports, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring financial accuracy and consistency across regional operations. Maintain accurate data within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system Review and approve payroll Prepare a working capital report on a weekly basis for the Regional Finance Manager Assists with the production of annual budgets and forecasts for the organization Implementation of cross training within the Accounting Department Review and investigate accounting errors, discrepancies and reconciling items for the organization Develops and documents written accounting policies and procedures for the organization Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned Provide regular reports to the enterprise and evaluate company goals Enforce company policies consistently and fairly Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or pursuit of certification is a plus Minimum of 2-5 years of audit experience in Public Accounting Strong proficiency in general ledger accounting and financial reporting Strong proficiency in accounting and ERP database software Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant business applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly Highly organized with exceptional time management skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the strategic impact of financial decisions Willingness and ability to travel to Member Firms for on-site support and finance team meetings
