Payroll Associate
to join our team and support payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple legal entities. This role will be responsible for completing payroll cycles, tax reporting, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate is highly experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Process semi-monthly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for U.S. employees, including variable compensation, stock transactions, and deferred compensation. Calculate liabilities, withholdings, and other payroll-related computations for internal and external clients. Assist with tax and regulatory filings, ensuring deadlines are met. Respond to routine client inquiries regarding earnings, deductions, and payroll compliance. Participate in special projects and may lead smaller projects as needed. Contribute to team objectives, maintaining accuracy and timeliness in all payroll processes. Qualifications: 4–6 years of payroll experience, with strong background in payroll taxes and high-volume payroll processing. Experience with multiple legal entities (federal and state). Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred; relevant experience may substitute for degree. Proficiency in
Oracle
and familiarity with
ADP SmartCompliance
is a strong plus. Well-rounded knowledge of payroll deductions and general accounting principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
