About the Role:

We are seeking a

Lead Revenue Accountant

to join our fast-paced and collaborative accounting team. In this highly visible role, you’ll take ownership of key revenue accounting functions, with a focus on accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating complex contracts, applying Standalone Selling Price (SSP) models, and managing multi-element arrangements. As a trusted accounting professional, you’ll work closely with cross-functional partners in finance, sales, and legal to ensure compliance, support reporting, and help strengthen internal controls. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence process improvements and contribute to the scalability of our revenue operations as the business grows. What We Are Looking For:

Analyze customer contracts and purchase orders to determine appropriate revenue treatment in compliance with ASC 606 Prepare accurate and timely journal entries and reconciliations for revenue-related accounts Maintain comprehensive documentation to support revenue recognition decisions and audit requirements for complex transactions Maintain and apply Standalone Selling Price (SSP) models to ensure accurate allocation of revenue across multiple performance obligations Manage the accounting for complex, multi-element arrangements with consistency and attention to detail Evaluate transactional history and contract terms to provide informed guidance on ASC 606 application and ensure proper revenue treatment Develop and update detailed revenue reports, including variance analysis, trend insights, and product-level breakdowns Support the preparation of revenue-related disclosures for external financial statements and public filings Monitor and enforce compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement Partner closely with Sales, Legal, Order Management, and Finance teams to assess contract terms and determine revenue implications Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders by providing guidance on revenue recognition policies and emerging accounting issues Prepare audit-ready documentation and participate in internal and external audit walkthroughs related to revenue activities Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in revenue recognition processes Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and improve accuracy within the revenue accounting function Stay informed on evolving GAAP standards, industry practices, and system capabilities to support scalable, future-ready processes Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or a related field required. A CPA license (or CPA exam eligibility) preferred; CIA certification is a plus but not required 3–5 years of relevant experience in public accounting (audit focus with public company clients) and/or corporate revenue accounting within a public company environment Hands-on experience applying ASC 606, including Standalone Selling Price (SSP) modeling and accounting for multi-element arrangements Familiarity with key financial systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle RMCS, Oracle Noetix, Agile, Salesforce.com, and Hyperion Financial Management preferred #LI-MM1 3D Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
