Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Audiologist in performing routine duties and providing administrative support. Manages device (CI’s and HA’s) orders and repairs, including equipment tracking, completing repair/order forms, and packaging hearing aids for shipment. Prepares devices for delivery to the patient. Assemble devices and prepare paperwork for fittings. Provides administrative support, including conducting preauthorization with 3rd party payers regarding device benefits and scheduling patient appointments. Ensures education materials are stocked and displayed. Orders supplies. Conducts minor repairs and cleaning of equipment. Conducts biological checks. Other duties as assigned. Salary & Schedule

Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $20.54-$27.80 per hour. Workdays: This role is located at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center East Pavilion. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm. Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years of previous relevant experience is strongly preferred. Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus! Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask. Excellent attendance and work ethic. Positive attitude and desire to be a team player. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
