COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR/SALES COUNSELOR We are looking for the right person to sell the Highgate brand platform to potential residents and their family members. Community Relations Coordinator

to be the primary seller of our assisted living and memory care lifestyle. If you enjoy interacting with people, learning their stories, and connecting with others, this role may be ideal for you. Responsibilities include driving the sales process, assisting new residents with move-in, planning and executing marketing events, understanding the competitive environment, conducting tours, and external business development.

The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, positive, self-motivated, with strong communication and computer skills. Excellent time management, relationship-building, persistence, flexibility, and adaptability are essential.

Skills Needed:

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to engage with people in person, virtually, via phone, and electronically

Good customer service skills and the ability to intuit

Patience, listening skills, and persistence to nurture long-term leads

Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn database management software

Ability to sell intangible products and services

Capacity to develop strong relationships and influence others

Strategic thinking regarding market dynamics and pricing

Financial acumen for revenue generation and marketing management

Acceptance of metric-based performance coaching

Ability to build new relationships that increase business

Openness to coaching and feedback

Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities

Willingness to learn about dementia and support residents with dementia to live purposefully

Relatable Experience:

Experience in major decision and investment sales

Experience in marketing, cold calling, metric-based roles

Roles balancing sales objectives and problem-solving

Experience demonstrating kindness, patience, and compassion in significant life issues

Knowledge of the senior population and aging

Responsibility for generating new business and revenue

Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or senior care industries

Success in achieving goals or benchmarks

Qualifications:

At least 21 years old

Minimum 2 years in direct sales roles

Sales or marketing education is a plus

Current negative TB test

Ability to initiate contact and conversations with people

Ability to pass criminal record/background check

Willing to work some weekends and evenings

Valid driver’s license with a qualifying driver record

Effective time management skills

Ability to work independently with little oversight

Strong organizational and communication skills

We offer a benefits package, a voice in decision-making, and opportunities for innovation. Compensation is flexible based on experience, with an annual wage range of $52,000 to $70,000 plus a performance-based commission and bonus plan up to 40% of the base salary.
