The Data Engineer will support the Clinical Care Management (CCM) program by designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining data solutions.
This role is central to enabling high-quality data flow and analysis for care management initiatives, ensuring data-driven insights are actionable and timely across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing workflows using GCP technologies.
Create and maintain structured datasets in BigQuery to support business intelligence and analytics efforts.
Leverage SQL and Python for data transformation, analysis, and automation.
Utilize Airflow to author, schedule, and monitor complex workflows.
Employ Dataflow or similar tools (e.g., Apache Beam) for batch and stream data processing.
Collaborate across IT and business teams to define requirements and ensure successful data integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within data pipelines and platform configurations.
Communicate effectively to align with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of data engineering experience. High-level proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with GCP, including BigQuery, Airflow, and Dataflow or similar tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex data challenges. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in data analysis and management including architecture, modeling, mapping, testing, and optimization. Familiarity with API and service integrations across on-premise, cloud, and SaaS platforms. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub for continuous integration and deployment. Knowledge of IAM frameworks and tools for secure data access management. Exposure to containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker. Proficiency in working across multiple OS and database environments. Experience with various software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Background in pharmacy benefit management (PBM) or healthcare domains.
