Job ID: 3070850 | Amazon Data Services, Inc. Amazon is seeking a logistics professional for our AWS team in the Aurora, CO area. Logistics Specialists will perform operations across Warehousing, Transportation, and Data Centers, including monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, processing inbound and outbound shipments, managing Inventory Management Systems, and overseeing chain-of-custody processes for customers. Responsibilities

Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers. Load and unload shipments and transport parts, racks, and equipment between locations, including localized driving of a variety of transportation vehicles. Attend company-provided forklift operator training. Complete company-provided training in driving box trucks up to 26 feet in length. Handle sensitive/classified materials. Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts. Occasionally work in an office environment. Work overtime as required. Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials; maintain precise records of commodities in and out of the company; keep spaces clean, organized, and safe. Physical and Operational Requirements

Lift loads of up to 40 pounds and carry them for short distances; participate in group lifts of 41 pounds or more. Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach; coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment; reach to position equipment while maintaining balance. Push or pull heavy objects into position; stand, walk, and perform tasks for prolonged periods; tolerate a noisy environment. Occasionally be exposed to temperatures between 40 and 90 degrees, with possible excursions above 90 degrees. Qualifications

Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph. 2+ years of logistics experience, preferably in a warehouse environment, and 1+ year experience driving box trucks up to 26 feet in length. 1+ year experience operating a forklift or similar powered lifting equipment. Experience using a computerized Inventory Management System (IMS). Preferred Qualifications

Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Strong understanding of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices. Ability to demonstrate process improvement and operational efficiencies. Base pay ranges from $52,500/year to $112,400/year depending on location and experience.
