Overview

Job Title: Lab & Facilities Coordinator Location: Atlanta, Georgia Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Georgia Tech is an equal employment opportunity employer. This position requires coordinating all operations of an instructional or research laboratory, including overseeing installations, deliveries, inventory maintenance, and conducting safety training for students. The role also provides assistance with maintaining facilities and regularly interacts with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position may advise and counsel students, faculty, and staff as needed. Responsibilities

Coordinate facility maintenance for large projects. Maintain laboratory facility in a safe, clean, and organized manner. Conduct safety training and project consulting. Assist with development and maintenance of instructional laboratory experiments. Coordinate maintenance, installation and acquisition of equipment for the laboratory. Manage the chemical inventory compliance requirements for the labs. Oversee the proper disposal of hazardous chemicals in the labs. Coordinate the purchasing of all consumables. Monitor lab equipment performance and usage; maintain equipment as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience Two to three years of job related experience Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience in a university environment Salary

Proposed Salary: $23.99 - $32.62 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
