Overview
Restoration / Mitigation Estimator position with SERVPRO Franchise. You will help customers throughout restoration projects and support efforts to make fire and water damage “Like it never even happened.” Primary Responsibilities
Customer Satisfaction Establish customer relationships for restoration services Educate customers on the restoration process Work with customers to understand desired upgrades/changes Ensure that estimates meet client requirements Project Initiation Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for restoration projects Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades Work with Project Manager to price bid items, if needed Project Planning Identify and document finalized project scope of work Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimates (e.g., Abatement Contractors, ITEL, Adjusters) Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates Deliver and communicate estimates to the Project Manager Necessary Experience and Skill Set
2 years of previous restoration estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience Experience with IICRC standards Superb customer service track record Effective written and oral communication Advanced math skills Experience using Xactimate estimating software Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Team Player Must have a good driving record Physical and Work Environment
Frequent driving and sitting at a desk. Occasionally climbing ladders. May be exposed to extreme conditions such as heat for short periods. The work environment and job sites can be loud. Working Hours and Travel
This is a full-time position. Long hours, on-call rotation, and some weekend work. Travel is primarily local; some out-of-area and overnight travel may be needed. Compensation & Benefits
