Job Description Senior System Administrator – Major Incident Manager role at Infinite Computer Solutions.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Communication : Lead cross-functional teams during high-pressure situations, communicate findings and resolutions to stakeholders and users.

Analytical Thinking : Quickly assess and prioritize incidents, conduct post-incident reviews.

Technical Knowledge : Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, monitoring tools.

Time Management : Coordinate incident response, ensuring timely resolution.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : 5 Whys, ensure root cause mitigated.

Stakeholder Management : Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Process Adherence : Familiarity with ITIL incident management frameworks.

Continual Improvement : Design thinking to improve stakeholder experience and incidents.

SLA/KPI : Create or review SLA/KPI metrics, ensure compliance.

Problem Management PR : Reactive and proactive approaches to incident resolution.

Planning Forecasting : Forecast resource and incident trends.

CMDB Configuration : Maintain configuration management database.

Hands-on Experience

Major incident scenarios handling.

Use ITSM tools, incident dashboards, communication platforms, escalation matrices.

Conduct post-incident reviews to identify improvement areas.

Qualified Certifications

ITIL Foundation.

Scrum Master (advantage).

Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech degree.

5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and incident management.
