Key Responsibilities

Design and manage Azure networking components: VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints, Azure Firewall, and ExpressRoute.

Lead hybrid connectivity initiatives between on-prem data centers and Azure cloud using VPN, BGP, and SD-WAN.

Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, patching, and Group Policy.

Oversee VoIP infrastructure and carrier relationships, ensuring high call quality and uptime.

Monitor and optimize network performance using Azure Network Watcher, PRTG, and SolarWinds.

Automate network provisioning and policy enforcement using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Document network architecture and configurations for audit readiness and operational transparency.

Provide Tier 3 support for complex network and infrastructure issues.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and internal governance standards.

Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to support secure deployments and access control.

Essential Skills

Deep expertise in Azure networking: VNets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateway.

Strong understanding of networking protocols: IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, SD-WAN, LDAP.

Advanced Windows Server administration: Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, patching, NPS, and Radius.

Expertise in VoIP and carrier management: SIP trunking, QoS, MOS scoring, and jitter/latency analysis.

Proficiency with monitoring and diagnostic tools: Azure Network Watcher, SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.

Experience with infrastructure automation: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

Familiarity with enterprise hardware: Cisco Nexus, ASA, FirePower, Meraki, and Juniper switches/firewalls.

Operating systems knowledge: Cisco IOS, Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, SUSE, CentOS), and VMware.

Strong documentation and compliance awareness: HIPAA, SOC 2, and internal governance standards.

Proven leadership in cross‑functional technical projects and excellent communication skills.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, including 2+ years focused on Azure networking.

Azure Network Engineer Associate certification (AZ‑700).

Azure Administrator Associate certification (AZ‑104).

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Strong understanding of compliance frameworks: HIPAA, SOC 2, and internal governance standards.

Proven leadership in cross‑functional technical projects.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments.

Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code practices using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere and Linux server environments.

Exposure to enterprise‑grade VoIP systems and carrier management.

Knowledge of advanced network performance tuning and diagnostics.

Additional Information

Salary: $119,000 to $145,000, depending on skills and qualifications.

Location: Remote.

Anticipated start date: 10/27/2025.
