Unit Clerk/Monitor Tech role at St. Joseph's/Candler Port Wentworth, GA | Salary: $30,000.00-$45,000.00 Responsibilities
The Unit Clerk/Monitor Technician transcribes and posts Physicians orders; maintains Medication Administration Records; transcribes appropriate information on patient’s graphic record; assists in maintaining PAR Levels of supplies for the Nursing Unit; maintains an organized work environment; facilitates communication between staff, families, and/or visitors. Monitors, interprets and records EKG strips. Staff may receive, secure and transport medications as necessary. Assists in procedures/ exams as directed. Obtains necessary supplies, equipment, and/ or personnel as needed. Communicates data by timely documentation and reporting of abnormal or patient status change to RN/LPN. Utilize interpersonal and therapeutic communication skills when necessary. Participates in the training and orientation process for new staff as appropriate. Demonstrates initiative and flexibility. Participates in process improvement initiatives. Qualifications
Education: High School or GED, General Studies - Preferred Experience: 1 Year Unit Clerk or Customer Service - Preferred License & Certification Job Details
