Nemours . Job Description Nemours is seeking an AVP Service Line Administrator (Orthopedics) (Full-Time), to join our Nemours team. Location can be Orlando or Jacksonville, Florida. This is a hybrid position. Must be able to travel to locations throughout Florida. The AVP Service Line Administrator will serve as a key Florida Administrative Leader for the development and advancement of the Florida Orthopedics Service Line. This role involves working collaboratively with the executive team to drive growth, innovation, and transformation initiatives. The AVP will aim to elevate the Department of Orthopedics to a Florida-level service line with excellence in research, education, and clinical activities. Reporting directly to the VP Florida Practice Administrator, the AVP maintains matrixed accountabilities to Regional Presidents, Chairs, CMOs, and Site Administrators. This position supports Chairs in achieving clinical, operational, and financial goals, and leads all administrative, operational, and business functions of the Department, including clinical, research, and educational activities. Responsibilities encompass financial management, human resources, patient access, research grants, clinical program development, budgeting, and quality improvement. The leader will leverage market intelligence for decision-making and growth strategies, and will be instrumental in establishing long-term strategies in Orthopedics. Job Responsibilities Fiscal Leadership
Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute fiscal responsibilities. Ensure appropriate pricing, contract, and collection practices supporting revenue maximization and compliance. Monitor fiscal metrics such as RVUs and billing revenue per FTE. Manage revenues from grants, industry contracts, and donations; oversee budgets and financial results. Patient Access, Satisfaction, and Safety
Oversee patient access and monitor performance against access targets. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient flow, safety, and satisfaction. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Operational Leadership
Coordinate resources across reporting units. Serve as liaison to senior leadership and represent the service line on committees. Provide performance reports and ensure system-wide strategic alignment. Planning and Program Development
Lead development of statewide strategies and new programs to increase market share and improve outcomes. Translate strategic plans into financial models and operational plans. Coordinate clinic and space planning with facilities. Personnel Management
Oversee staffing, compensation, and policy adherence. Provide leadership to all personnel within the service line. Job Requirements
Master's Degree in business or healthcare administration or equivalent. At least 10 years of experience in fiscal management, program development, and healthcare operations. Experience with management systems preferred. Orthopedics operations and strategy experience preferred. Willingness to travel between Orlando and Jacksonville locations.
