As an Onsite Technician you will facilitate Arcwood's onsite Environmental Assistance Program at a customer location, supporting waste management programs by assisting with waste collection, bulking, and waste area inspections. Essential Functions & Requirements
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices at all times Assists onsite customer with waste management programs such as waste collection, bulking, or waste area inspections Assists Onsite Chemists in the movement and segregation of chemical storage containers by hazard class Uses knowledge of customer SOPs and Arcwood protocols to store and process materials Develops strong customer relationships and provides required reporting or status updates Communicates customer needs to the Project Manager to ensure full support and awareness of changes Collects hazardous and non-hazardous materials from onsite locations and transports them to waste collection areas Performs basic spill cleanup and standard housekeeping duties Assists with general processing needs of electronic scrap materials Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team Education
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Some science-related post-secondary coursework (preferred) Experience
Valid driver's license (required) 1+ years of related experience (preferred) Competencies
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to company standards Regular and predictable attendance Additional Requirements
Due to exposure to atmospheres/waste/materials, this position requires individuals to be clean shaven to don a respirator for protection Benefits, Compensation, & Workforce Diversity
