IT Support Analyst

TEKsystems . Description: Supporting the transition of headquarters operations to Charlotte. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on providing technical support to remaining HQ staff and hangar mechanics. Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues via phone and in person Build and image new computers for incoming employees Troubleshoot IT issues including software errors, installations, and hardware problems Support mechanics at the hangar post-HQ closure Collect, box, and ship hardware to Technical Distribution Centers in Charlotte and Dallas Maintain awareness of system-wide outages and escalate incidents as needed Communicate effectively with Level 2 support and management Tech Environment
Operating Systems: Windows 10 & Windows 11 (transitioning fully to Windows 11) Ticketing System: ServiceNow (implementation begins November) Other Technologies: PC hardware, laptops, printers, LAN/WAN, dot matrix printers, internal server/mainframe apps (Shares, QIK, IBM/TSO/TPX, SCEPTRE) Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of Help Desk or customer service experience Strong troubleshooting skills in service desk environments Comfortable with face-to-face technical support (not just call center experience) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Apple Certification (Apple Genius) and/or A+ Certification preferred Experience Level
Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
