Analytics DevOps group is looking for an expert and highly skilled
Senior DevOps Manager
to lead and oversee our DevOps teams. The ideal candidate will drive automation, Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD), and IaC practices. You will work closely with development, architects, site reliability engineering, operations, and IT security teams to build robust software/systems that scale securely and reliably, in accordance with group technology standards. This is a leadership role requiring technical depth, project management, and strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across analytics teams. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Lead, mentor and build high-performing DevOps teams, providing guidance, mentoring, training, and fostering continuous learning, innovation, collaboration, agile delivery, and operational excellence. Partner with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure timely and efficient software releases. Lead budgeting and forecasting of DevOps resources, tools, and cloud infrastructure. Communicate DevOps standard methodologies and technical issues to non-technical partners. Continue to build and develop positive relationships with senior stakeholders. Understand LSEG\'s commercial position in the market and how the product/service/domain fits into the commercial direction. Planning & Execution
Understand how technology and domain strategy relate to one\'s work and supports strategy definition where appropriate. Work with engineering leadership to ensure DevOps initiatives align with software development, infrastructure, and product delivery requirements. Lead the delivery of complex and strategic projects, ensuring high standards through adoption of technologies/tools to enhance reliability, performance, and scalability. Collaborate with architects to decompose solutions into Epics. Automation, CI/CD and Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and streamline software delivery. Lead collaboration with engineering, operations, and architecture teams to automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling using standard IaC principles. Ensure efficient management of cloud infrastructure, including deployment, scaling and resource optimization. Collaborate with security and operations teams to implement standard methodologies for cloud operations, monitoring, security, and data protection. Continuously assess and optimize DevOps practices to improve system performance, security, and team productivity. Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Master degree or equivalent experience in computer science or engineering. Able to obtain relevant certifications (Azure/AWS solution architect, Kubernetes Administrator, DevOps) are a plus. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus. 10+ years of experience in software architecture, DevOps, or related field. Ability to lead diverse distributed teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of multi-application management. Proven 4-6 years of leadership experience leading DevOps teams and multi-functional collaboration. Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.), version control (Git), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation and/or Ansible. Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and infrastructure management. Good understanding of system operations, security, networking, and performance tuning. Knowledge of multiple programming languages (Shell scripting, Python) and third-party software products. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana, etc.). Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Experience delivering projects on time and within budget. People and multi-group management experience is a plus. Compensation/Benefits Information
