Our client is seeking a skilled
Network Administrator II
to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on reliability, performance, and customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical challenges across LAN/WAN environments, VoIP, firewalls, wireless systems, disaster recovery, and network security. As part of a collaborative IT team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a broad range of networking technologies. You’ll also help drive the success of IT operations by interfacing directly with support teams and end users through a ticketing system to resolve network-related incidents. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise-class network solutions Maintain and support Cisco hardware/software including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points Oversee licensing, upgrades, and performance of technologies including ISE (NAC), SIG, cloud-based DNS Administer and optimize VoIP infrastructure Implement VLANs, L2/L3 configurations, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), and VPNs Monitor network performance, manage documentation and inventory Participate in the on-call rotation and IT change management processes Support end users via phone, email, remote access, and on-site interactions Perform backup validations, patching, and vulnerability remediation Contribute to disaster recovery planning and compliance efforts Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination) Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, or Network+ Experience managing Cisco-based technologies, including Firepower, ISE (NAC), and NGFW Strong understanding of Cisco IOS and modern networking best practices Experience with backup/recovery tools and performance monitoring systems Knowledge of ITIL concepts such as change management Familiarity with system documentation tools (Visio, Excel, Word, etc.) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Self-driven and comfortable working both independently and in team settings Benefits
