Students will gain hands-on experience with SOC tools, procedures, and industry best practices while helping protect critical energy and infrastructure systems. Responsibilities
Monitor system logs and alerts to identify potential threats Assist in triage and escalation of incidents Support SOC analysts with threat intelligence research and documentation Maintain SOC playbooks, procedures, and incident records Provide technical support during live incident response activities Contribute to after-action reports, briefings, and training sessions Why Work at Auburn?

Auburn University undergraduate student Must be a U.S. citizen Must have the ability to work 10+ hours per week Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate student in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline Interest in network security, digital forensics, and incident response Familiarity with SIEM tools, intrusion detection, or malware analysis preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and follow structured processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Pay and Schedule
Pay Rate: 15.00-20.00 per hour Work Hours: 10-20 hours per week Additional Information
