We are seeking a

full-time

experienced and strategic

Commercial Lines Account Manager

with a strong background in managing complex accounts and delivering high-level client service. This individual should bring a deep technical knowledge of commercial insurance products as well as the confidence to advise clients on coverage options, risk management strategies and renewals. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder who can independently manage a book of business, negotiate with underwriters, and provide consultative support to both clients and producers. Job Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining and rounding out a book of commercial insurance property & casualty accounts. Coordinate all renewal activities, including reviewing policies, gathering client information, and preparing accurate renewal submissions. Provide clients with expert coverage guidance, risk insights, and insurance solutions tailored to their business needs. Deliver clear, professional renewal presentations outlining coverage, options, and recommendations for informed decisions. Negotiate competitive terms and pricing with carriers to secure favorable coverage and meet client expectations. Track and manage policy expirations to ensure timely renewals and maintain continuous client coverage. Update and maintain all client details in Epic (agency management system) to ensure the information is accurate and current. Must reside in the state of Michigan High School Diploma (or equivalent) License: Property & Casualty (ANY state) Minimum of 4 years of Account Manager experience with an independent insurance agency specifically with strong technical knowledge of these commercial coverages: General Liability Property Professional Liability Preferred Skills
