Senior Fire Alarm Systems Technician TSG Security & Fire is looking for an experienced and certified Senior Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our growing team in Rochester, NY. In this role, you’ll take the lead on installing, programming, servicing, and commissioning advanced commercial fire alarm and life safety systems from industry‑leading manufacturers.

What You’ll Do
Install, program, and commission complex fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.
Troubleshoot and repair networked systems, panels, and devices to ensure full operational integrity.
Program and integrate systems from top manufacturers — including
Bosch, Notifier, Fire-Lite,
and others.
Verify compliance with
NFPA 72 ,
NEC , and local fire and building codes.
Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, inspectors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results.
Mentor junior technicians and share technical expertise.
What We’re Looking For
NICET Fire Alarm Systems Certification (Level I, II, or III)
– Level III preferred.
EST/Edwards Fire Alarm certification and training
preferred.
Experience with
Bosch, Notifier, Siemens, Gamewell-FCI, Fire-Lite, or Simplex
systems.
Minimum
5 years
of hands‑on experience installing and servicing commercial fire alarm systems.
OSHA 10 or 30
certification and solid understanding of NFPA standards.
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Valid
New York State driver’s license
with a clean record.
