This role supports air quality compliance programs required under state and EPA regulations and air quality permits, including Title V for major sources. The position provides corporate level management of air quality programs, including stack test programs, CEM data management, and annual emissions inventory reporting. The role reports to the Director of Air Quality Management. Responsibilities

Manage and provide direction on the stack testing program, including test protocol development, coordination with stack test vendors, onsite test management, data collection, test report review, and corporate test report and database management. Provide technical direction and management of CEM data systems, including installation and commissioning of new data systems and integration of data systems into the corporate network. Assist in greenhouse gas reporting, including development and review of monitoring plans, data collection, data management, and filing of reports. Oversee annual emission reporting at facilities to ensure accurate and timely submittals with requisite backup documentation. Oversee facility CEM programs, including development and periodic review of QA/QC and data validation plans, review of quarterly audits and annual relative accuracy tests, and obtaining USEPA/State approval for new CEM systems or modifications. Assist sites with CEM data review, validation, and reporting. Assist sites in investigating and documenting startups, shutdowns, and malfunctions in accordance with USEPA and state requirements and corporate policy. Provide air permit and regulatory compliance assistance, including review and interpretation of new permit conditions and regulatory requirements, incorporation of new conditions into corporate and plant environmental management systems, and ensuring new conditions are properly implemented in a timely manner. Assist with air permit renewals, amendments, and modifications as required. Assist with air pollution control optimization initiatives, including evaluating air pollution control performance to identify improvements and ensure controls operate within design requirements. Develop/enhance training modules to support air program initiatives. Participate on facility environmental audit teams, taking the lead for auditing air quality program elements for compliance with state, USEPA, and permit requirements. Maintain a positive work environment by communicating effectively with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, and management. Education and Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in environmental engineering or science 10+ years of related experience in a waste company or comparable experience in a similar role Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently Frequent travel is required What You’ll Enjoy
