The Nursing Department is accepting applications for Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructors. These applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as clinical needs arise. Clinical assignments could be for any of the following Nursing courses: Pediatrics Maternal Health/OB Mental and Community Health Adult Med/Surg

Responsibilities of a Kishwaukee College Clinical Adjunct Instructor include: Promoting the philosophy, mission, and vision of Kishwaukee College Providing engaging, enthusiastic, and student-centered teaching to community college students Establishing a professional atmosphere that encourages mutual respect and civil engagement Contributing a collegial, collaborative, and positive attitude to students and colleagues Understanding and conveying the essentials of the profession that students should master Maintaining high academic standards while demonstrating equitability and fairness Working successfully and productively in a team environment with full-time faculty Performing the necessary duties as an adjunct instructor to ensure quality instruction In addition to clinical responsibilities, adjunct instructors will be required to grade student work and document assessments of student performance Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing and equivalent of 2 years full-time work in clinical practice. Must be licensed as an RN in Illinois, be CPR certified, with teaching experience preferred. Must be able to work on your feet for 8-12 hours. Preferred Qualifications: Physical Demands: Ability to stand and lecture for extended periods of time.
