JR-2025-100807# # **Position Summary**Summary: Guggenheim Investments is currently seeking an Associate to support the Private Investments team. The focus of this role will be conducting primary research, including financial analysis, due diligence on industry trends, company management and strategies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated and hard-working individual. The role is based full-time in New York City.# **Responsibilities****Key Responsibilities:**•The Private Investments Associate will be a key member of the Guggenheim Private Investments (“GPI”) team working across strategies including direct lending/private credit, real assets, and equity investment opportunities•Prepare and present investment committee materials, articulating key risks, mitigants, and return profiles for proposed transactions•Develop and help launch new investment strategies and products inside of Guggenheim Investments•Work on new initiatives and partnerships across investment strategies•Support key capital markets activities across the GPI’s strategies, including sourcing, structuring, and execution of debt financings, warehouse facilities, securitizations, and refinancing transactions•Contribute to GPI’s capital strategy by evaluating and supporting financing solutions across other investment verticals, such as warehouse lending for private credit or financing structures for real estate or infrastructure portfolios•Ongoing management and monitoring of portfolio companies, including performance tracking, covenant compliance reviews, and the preparation of materials for ongoing portfolio management meetings•Collaborate with internal and external partners on originating and structuring bespoke financing solutions, including untrenched, second lien, mezzanine, and other private instruments•Develop industry expertise and proactively monitor for changes in those industry tends and how they may impact the portfolio•Work with Operations, Legal, Distribution, Management and members within the Investment Management Group among others to review and ensure scalability in existing and new processes•Report to Senior Portfolio Managers of GPI# **Qualifications****Basic Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word* Excel skills to build dynamic, efficient, and intuitive financial models and work with large data sets* Demonstrated financial modeling and analytical skills* 3-4 years of experience in the financial services industry specifically in investment banking, capital markets, leverage finance, private credit, etc.* Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate financial results and business issues at the executive level* Ownership mindset, resourcefulness, and commitment to delivering high-quality work**Preferred Qualifications*** Demonstrated analytical and technical acumen, with a robust understanding of financial statements* Fluency in modeling financial statements* Comfortable with large data sets and reporting* Understanding of markets, and a passion for investing* Excellent written and oral communication skills to successfully convey investment messages, ideas, or nuances to others* Outstanding analytical skills; ability to conduct deep primary research, analysis, and draw conclusions from information* Strong interpersonal relationship skills and style conducive to building relationships* Ability to thrive in a fast- paced, deadline-driven environment; self-starter with a proven commitment to producing high quality work* Team oriented, unquestionable honesty and integrity, intellectual curiosity, and dedication to providing clients with the best research and service* Ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines effectivelyWe are not seeking agency assistance with this role# **Salary Range**Annual base salary between-$110,000.00The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience.
