The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and will have at least 2 years' experience in a public practice environment. A career-oriented accountant looking for a long-term, rewarding position with opportunities for growth. Position Responsibilities As a staff accountant, you will be involved in a variety of projects including: Preparing compiled financial statements Bank reconciliations Sales tax returns Payroll tax returns Other projects related to a variety of clients and industries Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner Develop client relationships by providing exemplary service and solutions to add long-term value Prepare and compile accurate financial statements for clients Perform detailed bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate cash records Manage payroll tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate compliance Assist with diverse client projects across multiple industries Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events About You Minimum of 2 years' public accounting experience Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA preferred Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Client management and time management skills Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
