We are currently searching for an EPIC Applications Analyst - Professional Billing and Claims to work with our EPIC team in Charlotte. Essential Functions:
Assist in the development, support, and functionality of an Electronic Health Record system and supporting IT systems.
Assist the organization in optimizing workflow processes through building applications tailored to meet clinics and administrative needs.
Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of clinical workflows and system build.
Strong understanding of Professional Billing core functions and processes, and how the business office and other departments work together. Knowledge of revenue cycle management is highly encouraged.
Understanding upstream and downstream data sources for claims and remittance, ability to investigate claims errors, familiarity with electronic claims and remittance processes.
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent experience.
Healthcare IT experience in acute or ambulatory care settings; working knowledge of IT applications is a plus.
Epic Certification in Resolute or Claims.
