Vaco is seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Analyst to join a leading apparel manufacturing company. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing payroll data to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for all employees. Handle off-cycle payrolls as needed. Ensure accurate entry of working hours, wages, bonuses, and commissions. Process payroll for new hires, terminations, and payroll adjustments.

Data Analysis: Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Prepare and generate payroll reports for management review. Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Track and deduct garnishments, tax levies, and other special payroll deductions. Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.

Systems Management: Maintain and update payroll systems and employee records. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll software. Collaborate with IT and HR departments to resolve system issues.

Employee Support: Address and resolve payroll-related queries and concerns from employees. Provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures. Educate employees on payroll-related topics and changes.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 2years of payroll processing and analysis experience. Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Technical Skills:

Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of payroll practices, tax regulations, and wage and hour laws. Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
