What we offer Training and development We’ll equip and train you with a multifaceted approach that includes an industry-leading learning platform, personalized coaching from dedicated training professionals, and the ability to obtain industry professional designations. We are committed to training and will subsidize it in your first two full-time contract years, providing additional funds, if you qualify, to help you complete our training program and grow your business. You’ll also be eligible to receive sales incentives and professional-development trips for top-performing agents. Digital tools New York Life provides tools to support day-to-day success, including access to experts and a suite of digital sales, prospecting, and marketing tools for attracting and retaining clients via web, social, and email content. Products and solutions New York Life offers life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and investment products such as mutual funds through NYLIFE Securities LLC (FINRA/SIPC). You may specialize and gain expertise in areas such as becoming a financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC to offer wealth management and advisory services, estate planning strategies, and business solutions. When you join New York Life, you join a team with study groups, mentorship, and other opportunities to engage with fellow agents.

Compensation

You determine your income with a commission-based plan. In 2023, the average income of agents meeting annual minimum sales production requirements was $117,359. Individual performance determines income. Benefits for full-time agents include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus a 401(k) and pension.
