Finance Development Program (Summer 2026) - Finance Track
Zurich North America is accepting applications for the 2026 Finance Development Program - Finance Track. This is a full-time role based at the North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. About the Role The Finance Development Program is a 2-year, entry-level rotational program. Trainees rotate through core finance disciplines to develop technical and leadership skills and prepare to become senior-level financial analysts. You will participate in four 6-month rotations across areas such as Planning and Performance Management, Finance Operations, and Credit Risk, with exposure to senior leaders. The program is sponsored by Zurich’s Finance Leadership Team. Responsibilities Complete four 6-month rotations across core finance disciplines to build technical and leadership skills. Engage with senior leaders to gain exposure to strategic finance decisions. Develop proficiency in planning, performance management, and finance operations. Contribute to the organization’s growth and competitive edge through strong financial analysis. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field with no prior experience in Accounting or Finance; OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree with no prior experience in Accounting or Finance AND Knowledge of accounting or finance principles Preferred Qualifications Previous corporate internship experience Aptitude for automation and process improvement Sound knowledge of accounting or finance principles General ledger or accounting transactional experience Intermediate Microsoft Office experience Experience with general ledger, financial reporting systems, or treasury workstations Strong verbal and written communication skills Compensation and Benefits The proposed salary for this position is $80,850.00, with a short-term incentive bonus eligibility of 10%.
