Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products by providing tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language. This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will use our video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions to maintain accurate records. Who You Are
Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws; active PTIN. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken). Passionate about helping clients navigate taxation; committed to delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes. Excellent customer service skills; able to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. What You Need
Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria. Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days. Compensation
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. Base pay varies by location and experience. Example ranges include: Bay Area CA $28.80–$36.50; Southern CA $28.80–$36.50; Colorado $27.50–$34.80; Hawaii $28.80–$36.50; Illinois $27.50–$34.80; Maryland $27.50–$34.80; Massachusetts $28.80–$36.50; Minnesota $24.80–$30.30; New Jersey $28.80–$36.50; New York $28.80–$36.50; Ohio $24.80–$30.30; Vermont $27.50–$34.80; Washington $28.80–$36.50; Washington DC $28.80–$36.50. There may be eligibility for cash bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs.
