Prepare and post journal entries for accounting related entries to the General Ledger Follow company's established accounting processes while reconciling entries Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting related activities Regularly maintain and perform detailed monthly bank reconciliations Regularly perform balance sheet reconciliations Support month end close and financial reporting activities Support year end auditing tasks to include pulling documentation, reviewing and uploading to external site, etc. Respond to audit requests Complete and maintain accurate records of work performed for governmental, industry, and regulatory filings Complete Ad Hoc Reporting as needed, including expense trend analysis Other Accounting duties as assigned Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 5+ years accounting experience Basic knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures as relates to general ledger accounting Excellent computer skills, with a strong focus on both MS Excel and Sage Strong emphasis on advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting. Excellent oral/written communication skills Strong work ethic and attention to detail Job Details
