Description
Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is looking for a Staff/Finance Reporting Accountant to take the lead on our custom
client invoicing and financial reporting
functions. This role requires
exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate
across multiple teams to deliver accurate, comprehensive invoices and reports. Many of our client invoices require extensive backup documentation—sometimes exceeding 50 pages—making
precision and consistency
essential.
Locations:
Manassas | Fredericksburg | Richmond What You'll Do:
Lead
the preparation of
custom client invoices , ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements. Compile extensive supporting
documentation for invoices
(often 50+ pages). Coordinate
closely with
Project Managers (PMs) and subconsultants
to gather necessary data and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and distribute
weekly financial and project performance reports
for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain organized,
audit-ready records
of all invoicing and reporting activities. Provide
backup reporting support
to ensure continuity in
finance operations. Identify opportunities to
streamline invoicing
and
reporting
processes for improved efficiency.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years
of
accounting, billing, or financial reporting
experience, preferably in a professional services or project-based environment. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy , especially with complex and lengthy documentation. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Intermediate or above Microsoft Excel skills are required Proficiency in financial/accounting software. Excellent
communication
and
interpersonal
skills for working with
PMs, subconsultants, and clients .
