Work with and build relationships with internal and external customers to gather information and mitigate risk in a variety of situations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSBuild relationship with Dealers to consult on ways to improve their financial situationGather all documentation to conduct a proper analysis of customers credit worthiness and present to Credit ManagerInvolved in work out plans for high risk customerMeet with internal Sales department to report on predetermined high risk accountsMonitor orders for risk exposure, and ensure the terms are within the risk tolerances.Negotiate contract terms that promotes cash flow and mitigates riskProtect Herman Miller’s interestUnderstand preferred risk mitigation tools and when to use them appropriatelyWork closely with A/R Analysts on escalated payment issues to ensure payment is received within terms and check to make sure there are no financial concerns. Ensure accounts are current and within their credit limit.
