Responsibilities
Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and lenders regarding loan closing packages.
Obtain title searches and commitments.
Prepare settlement statements.
Draft letters and correspondence.
Gather and research all relevant papers, figures, and documents, and ensure the contracts conform to a specific standard.
Check for any objections or encumbrances on the title and order the proper documentation before closing.
Comply with documents: contracts, settlement statements, closing disclosures, mortgages, deeds, and title policies.
Ensure the monetary amounts are correct to satisfy mortgages, taxes, and judgments, and oversee the collection of all fees and charges agreed to for the sale.
Ensure that all legal documents involved in the transaction are properly notarized, recorded, and prepared.
Build relationships with clients.
Prospect new clients.
Attend networking events.
Requirements
License Title Agent (preferred)
Notary Public License
Knowledge of TRID compliance requirements
Attention to detail
