Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dependable

Full-Charge Bookkeeper

to manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting for a set of assigned clients. This role requires an individual who can work independently, handle multiple client accounts, and complete the full accounting cycle through month-end close. Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including:

Transaction entry and categorization Bank and credit card reconciliations AP and AR processing (as needed per client) Journal entries and adjusting entries

Maintain general ledger accuracy for cash and accrual-based clients Perform month-end and year-end closings Prepare and deliver financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance) Ensure timely filing of sales tax, payroll tax, and other compliance items (if applicable) Communicate directly with clients to resolve questions, request documents, and explain financials Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables Follow firm SOPs and maintain high-quality internal documentation Qualifications: 3–5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience Proficient with

QuickBooks Online

and

QuickBooks Desktop Strong knowledge of accounting principles (cash and accrual) Experience working with multiple clients or industries preferred Comfortable with learning various online Apps including workflow timed system Excellent attention to detail and time management Strong client communication skills Ability to work independently without supervision Preferred But Not Required: Experience in a bookkeeping or accounting firm QBO ProAdvisor certification or equivalent Industry experience with common small business verticals (e.g., real estate, construction, retail, etc.) Schedule & Compensation: In Office, 40 hours per week, $24-$27 hourly, benefits discussed in interview What You Can Expect: Clear, consistent client assignments Minimum teamwork required — mainly high-quality independent work Support from senior staff and admin for escalations or client issues Potential to grow into more advanced roles if desired
