Responsibilities

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses, where you receive dedicated and personalized classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 Exams. You will be taught the foundational skills needed to be an advisor—acquiring, building and managing client relationships, considering a client’s complex financial picture, and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives, while humanizing financial interactions. You will begin working in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care, with development support as you progress through stages. After achieving success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you may typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will continue to practice the skills learned by growing and deepening relationships within a portfolio of clients. The Academy will provide dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

This position supports career progression across multiple roles within Bank of America and Merrill, with ongoing development through Bank of America’s Academy.

Required Qualifications

Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses. Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity. Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions. Proven ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration. Results-driven mindset with the ability to prioritize the client’s interests in a complex, fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience Bilingual in Spanish
