Temporary Premium Billing Reconciliation Specialist I We are working with a leading organization in the healthcare space that is looking to bring on two Invoicing Specialists to support their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative, billing, or data reconciliation experience who enjoys detail-oriented work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Invoicing Specialist will support the finance teams by ensuring accuracy of member data, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts. This position is key in maintaining data integrity and compliance while providing exceptional administrative and billing support. Location: Onsite in Portland, ME (891 Washington Ave) — must be able to work fully onsite for at least 2 weeks of training; potential hybrid schedule thereafter Assignment: Temporary (through February 2026) Pay Range: $21 – $26/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Openings: 2 Seats Available Key Responsibilities

Perform premium billing data entry and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of member accounts Generate and manage invoices, process payments, refunds, and account corrections Investigate discrepancies and resolve escalated premium-related inquiries Conduct quality assurance reviews and identify process improvement opportunities Support compliance and audit activities by compiling documentation and implementing corrective action plans Collaborate with Finance and other internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues Assist with reporting, trend analysis, and workflow documentation Qualifications

High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred 2+ years of experience in health plan membership enrollment, billing, or related financial/data processing Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access Exceptional communication and analytical skills Experience with managed care eligibility or government healthcare programs is a plus Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to government contract requirements) We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
