Relationship Banker , you will help clients achieve financial well-being through deep customer relationships and a thoughtful understanding of their needs, offering the best and most appropriate personal and business financial products and services. Spend most of your time as a relationship banker, as new account and consumer lender for the banking center, and in a customer service associate role. Build customer relationships through proactive sales and service activities. Duties And Responsibilities Acquire and deepen customer relationships through active market profiling and needs-based questioning to identify deposit, credit, and investment solutions to help customers achieve their financial goals. Educate customers on services and current technologies the Bank offers for convenience. Promote alternative channels that provide value. Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions. Develop strong partnerships with Ag Services, Financial Advisors, Mortgage Advisors, and Commercial and Treasury Management colleagues to focus on deepening current client relationships. Manage and maintain these partnerships, recognize cross-selling opportunities, and make quality referrals. Create customer loyalty by building relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing personalized solutions. Serve as the primary new account and consumer lender for the banking center. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues both in person and via phone. Engage within the community through organizations and events. Assist customers with servicing their accounts, from transactions to complex needs. Address complex issues proactively and own the resolution process. Ensure compliance with all relevant bank regulations and stay updated on regulation changes. Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations. Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written Previous banking experience is a plus Outgoing, enthusiastic personality Comfortable handling money Accuracy and attention to detail Proven sales skills and goal-oriented mindset Ability to multi-task Good listening and problem-solving skills Enjoy working with the public High integrity and confidentiality Professional appearance Willing to cross-train and accept ongoing projects Knowledge of Windows-based programs and keyboard skills Ability to work banking hours Bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, standing This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Completion of pre-employment drug screening, credit, and background checks is required.
