Managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial regulations. Conducting detailed financial research to support decision-making processes and strategic planning. Handling tax-related tasks, including preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and addressing any tax-related issues. Maintaining and managing the general ledger, recording transactions, tracking assets and liabilities, and ensuring accuracy of financial data. Performing regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts. Utilizing advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data, create financial models, and generate financial reports. Collaborating with other team members to streamline financial processes, improve financial controls, and drive financial efficiency. Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry. Proficiency in AP, AR, tax, research, general ledger, and reconciliations. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex financial models and generate detailed financial reports. A deep understanding of financial principles and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate financial information to non-financial team members. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A CPA or other relevant certification is highly desirable. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to identify and implement effective financial solutions. About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles and a keen interest in driving business success through financial efficiency. You will be responsible for the execution and oversight of a wide range of financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, research, general ledger, and reconciliations.
