Segrera Associates has partnered with fast growing residential and commercial services company headquartered in St. Petersburg, FL. They are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated
Senior Accountant
to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of GL accounting experience. This pay range for this role $85-95k and is fully onsite in St. Petersburg, FL Responsibilities: Manage and maintain general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile bank statements and accounts. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls are in place and followed. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management. Provide support during year-end audits and liaise with external auditors. Stay current with industry trends and updates to accounting laws and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ of corporate accounting experience CPA preferred Proficiency in accounting software (Netsuite a huge plus). Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Seniority level
