What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Analyze multifamily developments financed with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit
Prepare financial projections and evaluate potential investments
Create Preliminary Investment Reviews (PIRs) with detailed information on proposed investments
Establish working relationships with developers of affordable housing
Manage bid workflow in coordination with the Originator and address non-critical business issues
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS/BA in Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field; Master’s degree desirable
Experience in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) development and/or finance
Strong financial and analytical skills, as well as relationship management and writing skills
Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in real estate analysis
Samples of writing and/or financial modeling may be beneficial
