Are you an experienced Accountant from a mid-sized or large company? Do you also have great communication skills? If so, we are working on a Senior Accountant role that would be right up your alley.
A large South Bay company is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for touching all areas of accounting, financial reporting, closing the books, and preparing complex journal entries. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant needs to have great communication skills, be a critical thinker, and deadline driven.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience Advanced Excel Experience using accounting software and ERP Knowledge of US GAAP Responsibilities
Journal entries for inventory, expenses, prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets Review gross margin and variance analysis Create financial reporting package GL account reconciliations Prepared sales tax returns Monitor and maintain compliance with affiliated organizations File business property statements Audit schedule preparation Ad hoc reporting and analysis Analyze and implement process improvement initiatives What’s in it for you?
