In this role, you’ll be responsible for guiding the financial strategy and analysis for major cross-functional projects. The Financial Analyst V will act as a key financial partner ensuring that all projects are grounded in a sound financial business case. What you’ll do

Business Case Development: Collaborate with various business areas to define project scope and build detailed financial business cases, including ROI analysis, cost-benefit analysis, sensitivity and scenario testing, and a total financial impact assessment. Cross-Functional Partnership: Work directly with multiple business units to gather financial data, understand project requirements, and align on financial objectives. Strategic Financial Guidance: Provide expert financial insight and recommendations to project stakeholders, challenging assumptions and driving value-focused decision-making. Broad Project Oversight: Manage the financial lifecycle of multiple high-impact projects. Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial science, finance or related field with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience preferred Self-motivated with excellent problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills required Demonstrates the ability to embrace and understand the change process, and effectively guides others through change Knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or the ability to learn is preferred Aptitude in programming languages is preferred Salary and Benefits

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range

(Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly): $106,400 - $140,000 / year Work environment and sponsorship

This role is hiring in Des Moines, IA and offers in-office/hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek).
